The Great Start Collaborative (GSC) & Parent Coalition for Charlevoix, Emmet, and Northern Antrim Counties is the community’s early childhood hub, bringing together community leaders and organizations dedicated to improving the local early childhood system.

The collaborative brings together business, education, health, human services, tribes, higher education, non-profit, court systems, and philanthropy to explore what it is like to raise young children and families in our community and how to better support families and children, prenatal to age eight.

The Collaborative’s sister body, the Parent Coalition, lifts up and seeks out parent and caregiver perspectives, feedback, and support that is used to inform improvement initiatives for our local early childhood system.
