Belvedere Club Family Tree
We have compiled a family tree on Ancestry.com for the largest group of people we have discovered who is connected to the Club and related either by blood, marriage, or adoption. We hope more connections will be recognized so that we can add more.
We are happy to list other family trees that are not (yet) connected to this tree on the Club website as well. We have several there already.
There is a common email log-in at Ancestry.com that we all can use to access the tree.
- Go to www.ancestry.com
- Username belvedere.club.tree@gmail.com
- Password Belvedere1
- On the menu bar at the top left, click on Trees
- Then click on Belvedere Club Family Tree
- You will be taken to the home person in the tree, who is Potter Orr at this time.
- In the upper right corner, you should see a button for Tree Search.
- This button allows you to search for a name in the tree, as opposed to another button in the upper left menu (Search) that searches the internet for anyone, whether in the tree or not.
- Click on Tree Search
- Either enter a name to see if it is in the tree, or click on List of All People to see names you recognize. The first names on the list are first name only because we did not have last names – typically maiden names.
- Search for women by maiden names.
- When you see a person’s box in the tree that has two smaller boxes by it, it means that you can click on the smaller boxes to open up more of the tree as it relates to that person. It is impossible to show everyone in the tree at the same time.
